Dark skies in the Vale
As part of the 2025 Dark Skies Festival, the Tees-Swale: naturally connected programme brought the night sky to life with star-gazing and dark sky activities in the Vale of Mowbray.
Local astronomers helped everyone to discover the stars and planets, and the Yorkshire Dales National Park staff ran night-time craft and art activities.
This event was put on as part of the Tees-Swale: naturally programme, funded by The National Lottery Heritage Fund, thanks to National Lottery players.
