Join us for an online training session on 12 March, 7pm to 8.30pm, to develop your understanding of how to survey adders and help contribute valuable data to the North Pennines National Landscape’s ‘Adders Up’ project. Learn how to find, identify, sex and age adders as well as other local reptile and amphibian species.

The online session is open to all with the aim of adults (older children with adults) capable of surveying in the field in the future. Volunteer opportunities in the upcoming adder surveys are in April and May and are subject to having attended the online session.
