Geology Walk: Fire and Ice (from Bowlees)

This 4km walk explores the landscape, rocks and fossils in Upper Teesdale. Over 300 million years in the making, this landscape has been shaped by tropical seas, molten rock, glacier movement and more recently by people.

Please bring water and a snack and expect some rough terrain. Sturdy footwear is essential. No dogs.

This event is part of a series of walks led by the North Pennines AONB Partnership’s volunteers and staff.
