Join us to design and construct a community tapestry to represent the local landscape and its unique connection with the mining heritage that shaped it. During June we will meet each Monday at Nenthead Village Hall to celebrate the unique landscape, nature, infrastructure and geology, as well as those who lived, worked and mined here. The finished tapestry will be a visual representation of the places, people and stories we encounter as we travel back into Nenthead’s past.

You don’t have to be an expert – just come along for a cuppa and a chat if you like. All are welcome, but children must be supervised by an adult.
