Learn how to waymark on the Pennine Way from Heather Procter, Pennine National Trails Partnership Manager and David Benson, Countryside Access Officer. The day will begin with a short presentation in Alston Town Hall followed by a 4 mile walk to address some waymarking issues in the real world. 19 July, 10am to 16:30pm.
Suitable for 16+. Under 18s must be accompanied by an adult. There will be a significant amount walking therefore a reasonable level of fitness will be required. We will be stopping for lunch while on the walk, therefore please bring a packed lunch with you.
