Join the RSPB on a walk from Talkin Tarn Country Park to RSPB Geltsdale Nature Reserve as part of the Festival of Nature. You will be able to learn about this special landscape and have opportunities to spot a range of wildlife with the help of RSPB Geltsdale Reserve staff. Please bring your binoculars if you have them.
The route is around 7 miles long and follows fairly well trodden footpaths and lanes. A good basic level of fitness is required as the terrain can be uneven and boggy in places. Please ensure you dress for the weather and bring sturdy walking boots. Bring your own food and drink to enjoy on the walk. Teas, coffee and cake will be available at the end to enjoy before a mini bus takes you back to Talkin Tarn car park for around 3pm.
Saturday 18th June, 10.30am to 3pm. Start/finish – Talkin Tarn Country Park Car Park, Tarn Rd, Brampton CA8 1HN. The walk is free but booking is required as places are limited.
