Join us on Saturday 20 August, 7.30-10.30pm at Bowlees Visitor Centre to experience the sights and sounds of the night. We will begin with a short walk to set up moth traps and then, equipped with detectors, stroll around looking and listening for bats. Later we will return to the traps to see what we have attracted.
Grade: Easy Walking, but it will be dark. Bring a torch, warm clothing and insect repellent.
This event is delivered as part of the Tees-Swale: naturally connected programme. Tees-Swale is funded by The National Lottery Heritage Fund and led by the North Pennines AONB Partnership in collaboration with the Yorkshire Dales National Park Authority.
Places are limited and booking is essential.
