Join us for a practical session collecting bird cherry tree seeds from a site in Teesdale. The seeds collected will be used to grow local provenance trees at our Tree and Wildflower nursery at Bowlees Visitor Centre. Bird cherry is a small, widely-distributed, deciduous tree. Bees and hoverflies visit the flowers and birds gorge on the berries in the late summer.

Exact location will be sent 48 hours prior to the event. Suitable for all ages; children must be supervised by an adult.

Please contact patrick@northpenninesaonb.org.uk if you have any queries or would like to volunteer at the Tree and Wildflower nursery.
