Loading Events

Plug plants are young plants, and with help from volunteers the plants have been looked after for at least 12 months and are grown in deep rooting pots. Plants are grown from local provenance seed  hand collected  from species rich meadows, banks and roadsides in Teesdale.

We have various opportunities throughout autumn to help plug planting wildflowers into upland hay meadows in Teesdale. All training will be provided.

A general level of fitness is required, please wear outdoor clothing and sturdy shoes. The exact locations will be given closer to the dates.

Volunteer dates are 24 September, 10 and 23 October, 7 and 21 November, 10am to 3.30pm. An extra date of 30 October 10am to 1pm is also available.
