Framing the Land photography exhibition

Earlier this year we challenged photographers to send us images of the North Pennines AONB and UNESCO Global Geopark that captured the special qualities of the landscape. We had some amazing entries, and these have been on display at The Witham, Barnard Castle, during October and at Allendale Forge during November.

We’re in the process of taking down the exhibition after its month at Allendale, but we’re pleased to announce that there will be another chance to see it in the Spring when it will go on show in our own gallery at Bowlees Visitor Centre. We’ll announce further details in the Spring. Meanwhile here’s the winning image by Les Mann, a suitably seasonal ‘Winter at Bollihope’.
