Celebrating nature, heritage and the landscape

North Pennines NatureFest

NatureFest

In 2026 we are holding our third North Pennines NatureFest, packed with events that celebrate nature, heritage and the landscape in the National Landscape and UNESCO Global Geopark.

The festival is running between Saturday 23 May and Sunday 7 June 2026.

It’s all about people discovering, enjoying and finding out about nature in the North Pennines. There are lots of events to choose from – all celebrating the outstanding nature, wildlife, plants and rocks found in the area.
