What we do
A landscape for everyone
We know that connection to nature is vital for our wellbeing, and that places like the North Pennines allow us to make that connection with the natural world, in the face of many other pressures. We also know that many people don’t have this connection, for many different reasons.
We are committed to addressing unequal and unjust access to nature and green spaces. A landscape for everyone is our vision and a principle that we are working to embed across our whole organisation and in all our work. You’ll find information on how we do this throughout the website, within individual work themes and projects, but this section is where we’re focusing attention on our vision for the North Pennines as a place where everyone can enjoy and connect with nature, the landscape and the joy of being outdoors.
