This Saturday 4 July marks National Meadows Day. If you’re visiting Bowlees from 10am-4pm, be sure to say hello at our drop-in meadow restoration station.

Celebrate National Meadows Day by getting a closer look at wildflower plants grown in our nursery and learn more about the process of meadow restoration from North Pennines National Landscape staff.

Collect a meadow flower spotter sheet to take away with you and see what you can find from the paths surrounding Bowlees.
