Come along to an evening of needle felting with local artist, Julia Neubauer, at Nenthead Village Hall, 19 May, 6pm to 8pm. Everyone is welcome, even if you’re a complete beginner. You don’t need to bring anything, as all the supplies will be provided.
In this free workshop you will be making a needle felted wall hanging, bookmark, or coaster. Using Herdwick felt from a local Cumbrian company, The Chimney Steep, you will embellish your background using different materials and embroidery wool to add details.
Suitable for children aged seven and above, all children must be supervised by an adult. No designated parking, but drop-off near door. Wheelchair accessible. Wheelchair accessible toilet.
This workshop is part of the Nenthead200 celebrations, marking 200 years since the London Lead Company designed the village of Nenthead. To find out more go to: nenthead200-celebration
