Due to popular demand, the team at Grassholme Observatory have laid on this exclusive family event to educate on all things spacey.
The whole family will enjoy interactive talks in the classroom and then will be able to see and touch rocks from space – meteorites, learn about space in the purpose-built classroom and then weather permitting outside for some stargazing and peering through telescopes.
Hot chocolate and radiators are available too. Bring warm clothes – it can get chilly when you are outside. The observatory, classroom and toilets are accessible. This is a pet free event. All children must be supervised by an adult.
