Our self-guided trail this half term holiday is a Moon-themed treasure trail, all part of the North Pennines Stargazing Festival 2025.
Explore the woods around Bowlees Visitor Centre with your family. Follow the trail around the site, taking you on an exciting journey to the Moon. As you follow the trail you will pick up clues in the form of letters – spell out the word and you will receive a starry prize.
Pick up your instruction leaflet and answer sheet at the visitor centre – £1 per child. No booking required – you can just turn up and join in at your own pace.
The trail is outside – so please come dressed for the weather.
